Love numbers, accuracy, and problem-solving? Join our fast-paced Finance team as a Banking and Collections Officer on a 3-month fixed-term contract, and play a key role in ensuring smooth financial operations for a leading organisation.
As a Banking and Collections Officer, you’ll manage daily banking, receipting, and payment allocation across multiple channels including EFTPOS, BPAY, credit cards, and online platforms. You’ll ensure accuracy, resolve discrepancies, and maintain compliance with audit standards while collaborating with internal teams and external partners.
Responsibilities:
- Process and allocate payments across multiple platforms (Credit Card, EFTPOS, BPAY, AMEX, Afterpay, Zip Pay)
- Monitor and resolve unidentified or suspense payments promptly
- Reconcile weighbridge transactions and support finance system upgrades
- Prepare daily suspense clearing and reconciliation reports
- Build strong relationships with internal teams and external stakeholders
- Maintain compliance with financial controls and audit requirements
What makes you a GOgetter:
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in cash handling, banking, and reconciliations
- Relevant accounting qualifications or equivalent experience
- Strong attention to detail and ability to meet tight deadlines
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office; experience with Microsoft Dynamics and Blackline AR is a plus
- Ability to thrive in a high-volume, fast-paced environment
