Obectives for the role:

 

To identify, develop and deliver value accretion through M&A and transformation projects aligned to Bingo’s strategic and financial growth objectives. The Business Analyst will provide data driven insights to the business and manage project workstreams to optimise business unit outcomes. The Business Analyst will also assist evaluation of investment and business cases through to implementation.

 

  • Work with the operating business and Growth team to identify, drive, and support discrete projects to deliver growth opportunities and enhance financial returns.
  • To assist workstreams of optimisation initiatives that delivers continuous improvement in productivity and return on capital employed.

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables, and develop detailed project plans to ensure successful implementation and execution.
  • Conduct advanced modelling which provides data driven insights to support business decisions with consideration for key financial, economic, and operational issues.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive alignment and integration of transformation initiatives across the organisation.
  • Monitor and evaluate project progress, identify risks and issues, and implement corrective actions as needed to keep projects on track.
  • Contribute to the design and delivery of regular and ad hoc reporting to assist and support key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Track and measure the impact of transformation initiatives on key performance indicators (KPIs) and business outcomes.
  • Stay informed about industry best practices, emerging trends, and innovative approaches to business transformation and change management.
  • Assist with maintaining an updated property database as well as relevant market comparables.
  • Ensure a periodic refresh of valuations is carried out and potential capital recycling opportunities are identified.
  • Design and build intermediate and complex financial models for internal investment analysis.
  • Support the preparation of internal business cases for consideration by the investment committee.
  • Maintain and update company profiles of peers and potential target companies including financial metrics.
  • Assist in transactions including due diligence and integration phases of acquisition as required.
  • Support the Growth team on special projects as required.
  • Produce high quality and visually appealing outputs using PowerPoint, Word, and Excel. Your use of charts, diagrams, schematics, and other visual aids will assist in presenting complex data in a simple fashion.
  • Analyse and interpret economic, financial, and operational information to prepare forecasts, estimates and projections.
  • Carry out all duties in line with BINGO’s policies, procedures and processes as amended.

Knowledge, Skills & Attitude:

 

  • Financial modelling (incl. corporate models).
  • Financial acumen and proficiency in deal negotiation.
  • Significant experience in a similar role within a corporate or experience gained in either an investment bank, advisory firm, management consulting or Big Four accounting environment.
  • In-depth experience in financial/commercial analysis, modelling, and data analytics.
  • Expert capability in using Excel.
  • Demonstrated experience in collaborative and consultative processes at a professional level.
  • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills and the ability to work as a member of a team.
  • Demonstrated expert written communication skills, specifically in PowerPoint and Word.
  • Demonstrated commercial and financial acumen.
  • Demonstrated ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders.
