Business Analyst

BINGO industries are looking for our newest Technical Business Analyst. This is an exciting opportunity working out of our head office in Auburn!

Role & Responsibilities:

• Business reporting requirements gathering
• Working with the business to determine reporting requirements, priorities and deliver against BINGO’s BI and data warehouse strategy
• Provide the business with accurate, congruent and reliable information
• Ability to create BI reports
• Working with the business and development team to design and document dashboards, alerts and reports.
• Educate and train business users to use their data as an analytical tool
• Work with team members and Business Analysts to define use cases and business requirements, ensuring alignment with project goals.
• Translate requirements into potential ways to solve, collaborating with developers on the optimum solution factoring in time, effort and quality.
• Participate in the validation process to ensure the output meets the criteria outlined by the business
• Process mapping and coordinating with cross discipline teams to collaborate on design, priority & approach
• Facilitating change requests to ensure that all impacted teams are informed of the impacts to existing flows
• Preparation of functional specification and use case scenarios for User Acceptance Testing (UAT)
• Conduct software testing in close cooperation with IT and business subject matter experts
• Document and track test results and software fixes
• End User Training and documentation management
• Ability to think outside of the box, to interpret data and understand recurring themes in systemic issues
• Act as a design consultant. Provide design consultation across all assigned IT projects.
• Support and resolved production issues. Support, resolve, and document issues in the production environment, including reviewing designs and code, and recommending improvements

What makes you a GOgetter:

• Minimum 4+ years Business Analysis experience in a complex Business Intelligence environment
• Strong Microsoft Dynamics Power BI experience
• Strong data analysis experience including understanding of BI architecture
• Experienced in creating BI reports
• Adept at training business users at all levels
• Strong Business requirements gathering skills and writing of functional specifications
• Should have strong communication skills and experience in dealing with internal customers.
• Strong communication skills, both oral and written
• Good business planning, analytical and conceptual skills
• Strength in performing effective root cause analysis
• Pro-active, self-motivated, enthusiastic, and results-oriented Individual
