Due to a recent acquisition, BINGO is looking for our newest Business Development Manager. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of a greenfield region with no existing account constraints. Your responsibilities will include:
- Drive growth across a greenfield territory by identifying and converting new business opportunities for tyre and mattress solutions throughout the Riverina, ACT and Southern Tablelands
- Proactively generate leads through face-to-face engagement, referrals and targeted prospecting activity
- Champion solutions through value-based selling, promoting tyre and mattress offerings while uncovering cross-sell opportunities across standard C&I services
- Build lasting partnerships by developing strong, trusted relationships with both new and existing customers
- Deliver exceptional customer outcomes by managing enquiries, resolving issues, and handling disputes with speed and professionalism
- Collaborate cross-functionally to support timely payments, resolve outstanding accounts and ensure customer expectations are consistently met
- Manage customer lifecycle events, including cancellations, in line with contractual obligations and company policies
- Stay ahead of the market by monitoring competitor activity, pricing and emerging trends within the tyre and mattress sector
- Influence business direction by providing insights, feedback and recommendations on market opportunities, product enhancements and service improvements
- Develop compelling proposals and tenders that clearly articulate value and win new business
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all customer interactions, agreements and pipeline activity within the CRM system
- Keep leadership informed with regular updates on activity, pipeline health and performance outcomes
- Uphold company standards by adhering to all policies, procedures and compliance requirements
- Champion safety and sustainability in every customer interaction, supporting a strong safety, environmental and quality culture
- Contribute broadly to team success, taking on additional responsibilities as required
What makes you a GOgetter:
- An understanding of the waste/recycling industry
- Sales experience in building materials, construction or manufacturing
- Currently active in a fast-paced sales role
- A proven ability to grow business organically through canvassing
- Proven record in root cause analysis to close off customer issues
- Experience with forecasting, pipeline management and sales reporting
- A valid driver’s license
