BINGO industries are looking for a Financial Accountant this is an exciting opportunity working out of our Head Office in Auburn.

 

Please note this role is a 6 month FTE contract.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

 

  • Identify manual and repetitive tasks within the finance function and propose solutions for automation.
  • Contribute to system enhancement projects, including documentation of processes and testing of changes.
  • Assist in embedding more efficient workflows using tools such as Excel, Power Query, or other automation platforms.
  • Ensure completion of month-end journals, reconciliations, and reporting tasks in line with the Group’s financial close timetable.
  • Maintain accuracy of financial data through robust balance sheet reconciliations and variance analysis.
  • Support preparation of monthly management reports and ensure consistency with accounting standards and policies.
  • Perform monthly intercompany reconciliations, identify mismatches, and liaise with counterparties to resolve variances.
  • Perform intercompany invoicing and reconciliations.
  • Maintain a clear audit trail and documentation for all intercompany transactions.
  • Monitor daily bank balances and assist in cash flow forecasting.
  • Assist with bank reconciliations and account maintenance.

 

What makes you a GOgetter:

 

  • CPA or CA qualified
  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in financial accounting
  • Hands-on experience with month-end close, including journal preparation, reconciliations, and reporting
  • Exposure to treasury operations, including cash flow forecasting and bank reconciliations
  • Proven ability to identify process inefficiencies and contribute to automation or system improvements
  • Strong working knowledge of month-end close processes, including accruals, prepayments and general ledger reconciliations
  • Understanding of treasury functions such as bank reconciliations and cashflow forecasting
  • Awareness of automation tools and techniques
  • Previous use of Microsoft Dynamics 365 is essential
  • Intermediate Microsoft Office 365 skills (Excel knowledge essential)
