Group Credit Manager

The Group Credit Manager is responsible for the leadership of the Accounts Receivable Team in the end-to-end billing process including any system transformation, ensuring debtors ledgers are managed appropriately and superior customer service is provided


The job


  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of the Revenue function for the Finance team ensuring the timely collection of payments from customers
  • Partner with the business support teams and other internal stakeholders to ensure accuracy and timeliness of billing
  • Ensure high-quality invoicing and collection procedures that comply with all relevant legislation and drive a high standard of customer service
  • Drive system transformation initiatives and continuous improvement of all processes and procedures
  • Partner with key business Executives to proactively manage outstanding debt
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with peers, customers and other stakeholders
  • Prepare timely and accurate reporting and forecasting to a variety of key stakeholder groups as agreed, providing key insights for decision making
  • Identify areas of focus for improvement through monthly analysis of performance data and reporting
  • Conduct comprehensive audits to further improve data entry and accuracy, reducing negative impacts on financials and revenue growth
  • Contribute to maintenance of internal controls and audits for compliance in data as it relates to Bingo policies and legislation
  • Support Year End process along with monthly reconciliations and reviews that ensure year end is seamless
  • Coach and mentor employees in order to create strong succession plans and develop future leaders within the team



What you bring

  • Qualifications in Finance is an advantage
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a Credit Manager/Controller position
  • Sound experience leading teams with a strong leadership presence
  • Able to demonstrate change management skills
  •  Is driven by processes and schedules
  • Able to talk about system architectures and how they drive current operations
  • Ability to work flexibly and adaptively in a complex environment with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
