Are you a passionate and experienced People & Performance Business Partner ready to join our team in Auburn?  Your support of key client groups will ensure the right people are in the right roles and are successful at work.  This hands-on role will give you the opportunity to work with GOgetters and leaders across the entire employment lifecycle. 

 

Responsibilities:

 

  • Lead safety initiatives with particular focus on psychological safety
  • Be at the forefront of our transformation journey
  • Partner with key stakeholders to provide expert advice on all people-related matters including workforce planning, performance management, investigations, employee relations, and return to work programs
  • Ensure everyday practices are procedurally fair
  • Sponsor internal talent, succession planning, and career development initiatives
  • Lead the development of policies and procedures in line with employment legislation and best practice
  • Compile and analyse data to guide leaders with decision-making
  • You’ll deliver work that is accurate and take care to maintain exceptional data integrity
  • Champion our values and mission, promoting a culture of inclusion, integrity, and sustainability

 

What makes you a GOgetter:

 

  • A degree in human resources, economics, commerce or psychology
  • At least five years’ experience in human resources/people and culture, including at least two years in a business partnering role
  • Experience supporting frontline or operational teams – ideally within manufacturing, logistics, waste management or similar industries
  • Strong understanding of Australian employment law and HR practice
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
  • Proven ability to manage complex issues with professionalism and sensitivity
  • Confidence using HR data systems  
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.  You’ll enjoy drafting communications and have a great writing style.

We are an operational business so you’ll need to wear full PPE when on site and travel regularly to our sites within the Sydney metropolitan area.  Occasionally we’ll need you to travel interstate to support your client group on the ground.
