As our Injury Management, Health & Wellbeing Lead, you'll play a critical role in shaping how we support and care for our people. This is a unique opportunity for someone looking to pivot from healthcare, rehabilitation, workers compensation or another people-focused industry into a dynamic in-house environment where you can see the impact of your work every day.
You'll become the trusted expert across injury management, return to work, health monitoring and wellbeing initiatives, partnering closely with leaders, employees and external stakeholders to drive better outcomes, reduce risk and foster a culture of care. It's a diverse and highly visible role, ideal for someone who enjoys building relationships, solving complex challenges and making a meaningful difference to employee wellbeing.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end management of workers compensation claims, including insurer engagement, documentation, compliance and claim performance.

Be the key point of contact for injured employees, leaders, treating practitioners, rehabilitation providers and payroll colleagues.

Develop, implement and monitor return to work plans that support safe and sustainable recovery outcomes.

Conduct workplace assessments and partner with leaders to identify and implement suitable duties and workplace adjustments.

Coordinate pre-employment, fitness-for-work and functional capacity assessments and ensure personal protective equipment is suitable and available.

Manage first aid training, compliance and related health monitoring activities.

Analyse injury and claims data, identify trends and deliver reporting, insights and continuous improvement initiatives.

Lead and support mental health and wellbeing initiatives.

Coach and guide leaders on early intervention, injury management and recovery-at-work practices.
Ideal Candidate Profile (What makes you a GOgetter)

Extensive experience in injury management, return to work, rehabilitation, workers compensation, occupational health or allied health.

Relevant qualifications in rehabilitation, health sciences, nursing, physiotherapy, exercise physiology or occupational therapy.

Experience interpreting workers compensation legislation, rehabilitation principles and return to work frameworks.

Proven ability to build influential relationships with employees, leaders, insurers, medical practitioners and external providers.

Confident communicator with the ability to navigate sensitive situations with empathy, professionalism and discretion.

Highly organised with strong administrative, record management and reporting capabilities.

Analytical mindset with experience identifying trends and implementing improvement initiatives.

Customer-focused approach, placing employee wellbeing at the centre of decision-making while balancing business objectives.

Experience within transport, logistics, manufacturing, construction, healthcare, or other high-volume operational environments. Work in a private equity environment will be highly regarded.

This role is based at our Sydney Olympic Park Head Office with regular visits to our teams on site to facilitate engagement with leaders and operational teams across the business.
