The Key Account Manager plays a pivotal role in managing and expanding key accounts, ensuring that client needs are met and exceeded. This position supports the sales strategy by identifying new opportunities and fostering long-term partnerships.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

 

  • Customer Management
  • Respond to all inquiries, cancellation requests, and sales requests within specified timeframe.
  • Manage, update and maintain client & Sub-contractor information in the company database.
  • Participate in continued education to learn about new products and improve sales techniques.
  • Execute and manage your Account Uprate and Price Review Mechanism Process.
  • Account Payment & Debt management
  • Identify and establish new accounts through proactive outreach and relationship building.
  • Prepare and deliver tailored proposals and tenders.
  • Participate in building the Key Account pipeline
  • Market Analysis
  • Provide Monthly waste data reports for your accounts by conducting a data analysis. Report to customers any trends or issues found and provide recommendations and solutions.
  • Work with the Accounts Management Support to set up monthly data and NABERS reports.

  • Understanding of waste management practices and recycling procedures
  • Familiarity with commercial sales processes and customer service excellence
  • Relevant sales or Key Account Management experience, preferably in the waste or recycling industry
  • Proven track record of managing on the ground customer relationships and driving sales growth
  • Proven record in execution of operational requirements for new business.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Results-oriented with a focus on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to adapt to changing environments and challenges
  • Ability to build strong internal and external relationships
