As a Labourer - Picker you have an exciting opportunity to contribute to what is set to become a significant asset in Australia’s push to recycle more and send less to landfill.  MPC2 is BINGO’s biggest achievement to-date, with state-of-the-art systems and the latest in recovery, security, and safety technology.

 

As part of our waste sorting team, you will work with a team to identify and sort recyclable materials along our processing lines and conveyor belts.  Join a company where you can make a difference!

 

The role:

  • Located at Eastern Creek 
  • Permanent and full time at 38 hours a week
  • Day and Afternoon shift openings currently available 
  • Recyclable materials include bricks, cement, tiles, steel, and timber
  • You will assist with the recovery of materials to be processed and resold as eco product
  • You have a key role to ensure continued efficiency of the processing line by identifying and troubleshooting any issues, including line blockages and catch points
  • Manual handling tasks including sweeping, raking, lifting and general cleaning
  • Identify and raise concerns to ensure continued safety and environmental compliance

What you bring:

  • No experience necessary but you will be a team player with a positive approach
  • A current drivers’ licence and own transport is highly preferable because local public transport options are limited
  • The proven ability to safely complete a range of physical and manual tasks
  • Be happy to roll your sleeves up in a heavy industrial environment. It gets noisy!  
  • Strong verbal and visual communication skills including being able to interpret safety signs.
