Australia's largest and most-advanced recycling facility is at the BINGO Eastern Creek Recycling Ecology Park. Featuring cutting edge manufacturing technology, MPC2, the Materials Processing Centre, will be a world-leading recycling asset right here in Sydney.

 

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for analysing data to identify, develop solutions, and resolve issues effecting uptime of the MPC plant.

 

The Role:

  • Located at Eastern Creek.
  • Permanent full time position (38 hours per week)
  • Day shift
  • Able to work within deadlines and maintain high quality standards
  • Work in a team environment to lead and coordinate:
    • Development of maintenance management system and performance reporting.
    • Development and refinement of the maintenance planning process, cycles and milestones.
    • Development of maintenance plans to maximize planned non operational hours and provide advise to the optimal usage and upkeep cycle.
    • Manage the maintenance forecasting and planning, including resources, cost, parts and time requirements, and work with the maintenance manager on best use of internal labour and external.
    • Lead Maintenance prioritization and decision making within the maintenance plans to ensure the right maintenance is getting done at the right time, with a focus on preventative maintenance over corrective.
    • Support the development of asset class strategies and implementation of their plans within the Maintenance Management System.
    • Own the Computerized Maintenance Management System to ensure: all types of maintenance are accurately captured and their status is managed to maintain an accurate open repair list. This will include working with Maintenance Shift Managers to ensure records are kept up to date.
    • Conduct analysis on asset and component MTBF, and labor requirements with the objective to optimize plant uptime through reduced maintenance or reduced repairs times to support an optimal total cost of ownership
    • Support parts inventory and stock level management.
    • Development, achievement and reporting of Maintenance KPI’s.
    • Work closely with the Reliability Engineer to integrate Reliability Improvement initiatives into the Maintenance plan and forecast.

What you bring:

 

  • Engineering degree within Mechanical or Reliability disciplines, however a trade background would be considered.
  • Strong computer competence.
  • Strong data analytics, and Power Bi experience will be beneficial.
  • Able to set challenging goals for personal and group accomplishment.
  • Use measurement methods to monitor progress toward goals.
  • Tenaciously works to meet or exceed goals while deriving satisfaction from that achievement and continuous improvement.
  • Able to identify and understand day-to-day operational issues, problems, and opportunities.
