Mobile Plant Trainer

Join us as a Mobile Plant Trainer and collaboratively drive continuous improvement, best practice and compliance initiatives throughout Bingo’s national network. Form strong relationships with the key internal and external stakeholders and lead the implementation of related training strategies in driving positive change. The Training Coordinator is responsible for coordinating the full range of functions required for the successful delivery and execution of Machine and Plant Training programs and assessments and other compliance required training.

The job

• Coordinate the training, assessments and continual improvement of our machine and mobile plant operators and Resource Recovery and Recycling staff.
• Development of training program plan that aligns with the overall objectives of the Resource Recovery and Recycling departments.
• Develop and deliver Resource Recovery and Recycling compliance training programs to the organisation in consultation with the B&D and SEQ team.
• Co-ordinate, deliver and monitor all content and materials for Machine Operator training programs, ensuring alignment with Bingo growth strategies.
• Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, and consultation with line managers and Head Of Training & Capability.
• Collaboratively analyse machine operator training needs and provide training solutions that align with Departments objectives.
• Monitor and provide feedback of machine operators performance
• Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them.
• Manage the delivery of the continuous improvement program, working collaboratively with all involved parties.
• Some interstate travel required.

What you bring

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in a machine operator role (excavator, dozer, loader, compactor) or mobile plant trainer
• Certificate IV in Training & Assessment or Trainer Skill sets is desirable
• Licenses, qualifications and VOCs in Plant and Machine Operations
• Previous experience in coordinating VOCs and Training
• Previous stakeholder engagement experience
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Previous experience in design and development of training programs
• Strong computer skills and confidence using all the usual office applications.
