Operations Analyst

We are seeking a motivated and analytical individual to join our team at Eastern Creek in a critical role that combines maintenance system optimisation, purchasing and data analysis. This position is pivotal in driving efficiency, cost savings and continuous improvement across our largest purchasing site.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure full utilisation of the Gearbox system for mobile plant maintenance and compliance.
• Create and manage jobs, release purchase orders and accurately receipt and close work orders to maintain cost visibility and asset performance insights.
• Oversee the majority of purchasing activities for Eastern Creek, identifying trends and collaborating with Procurement to optimise spend and deliver cost efficiencies.
• Generate financial reports, analyse data, and provide actionable insights to support informed decision-making.
• Assist the FP&A team with queries and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Process transport invoices, verify loads and rates and ensure accuracy of third-party charges.

What makes you a GOgetter:

• A recent graduate or early-career professional, ideally with a mechanical engineering background and exposure to accounting principles.
• Strong analytical skills and a passion for continuous improvement and cost optimisation.
• Comfortable working with data and systems; experience with Gearbox or similar platforms is advantageous.
