Operations Analyst

We’re looking for a Maintenance Engineer to support the performance, availability and lifecycle management of our mobile plant fleet across multiple sites. From loaders and excavators to heavy vehicles and specialised recycling plant, you’ll play a critical role in driving reliability, uptime and total cost‑of‑ownership improvements.

Responsibilities:

• Own the Computerised Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for the mobile plant fleet, ensuring all activities are accurately captured and statuses remain up to date.
• Partner with Maintenance Supervisors to maintain accurate open repair lists and ensure effective work management.
• Support inventory management by advising on optimal spare parts and stock levels.Develop, track and report maintenance and reliability KPIs.
• Develop and optimise maintenance management systems and performance reporting for the mobile plant portfolio.
• Create and refine maintenance planning processes, schedules and milestones to maximise planned downtime and minimise reactive work.
• Develop asset‑specific maintenance plans to ensure optimal usage, reliability and lifecycle outcomes.
• Forecast maintenance resource requirements including labour, cost, parts and time, working closely with Maintenance
• Managers to balance internal and external labour.
• Lead prioritisation of maintenance activities to ensure the right work is completed at the right time, with a strong focus on preventative maintenance.
• Analyse asset and component reliability (including MTBF) to identify opportunities to reduce failures, downtime and repair durations.
• Support the development of asset class strategies by providing data‑driven insights on performance, cost, utilisation and lifecycle trends.

What makes you a GOgetter:

• Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Reliability Engineering or similar (trade background highly regarded).
• Strong computer literacy; experience with CMMS and Power BI a bonus.
• Solid data analysis capability to interpret performance trends and drive improvement.
• The ability to set ambitious goals, measure progress and drive continuous improvement.
• Practical understanding of operational challenges in a mobile plant or heavy equipment environment.
• Strong decision‑making skills based on evidence, operational context and risk.
