BINGO industries are looking for an experienced Payroll Officer. This is an exciting opportunity working out of our head office in Sydney Olympic Park!

 

Role & Responsibilities

 

  • Partner with Business Leads to process payroll, maintain accurate records in SuccessFactors, and ensure compliance with policies, awards, and legislation.
  • Deliver timely and accurate end‑to‑end payroll processing, including time and attendance validation, superannuation payments, employee deductions, and STP reconciliation and lodgement.
  • Maintain payroll data integrity by ensuring all changes are properly documented and approved.
  • Manage employee lifecycle transactions such as hires, reclassifications, and terminations.
  • Respond to payroll queries professionally while interpreting and administering awards, enterprise agreements, and employment contracts.
  • Prepare standard and ad‑hoc payroll reports and support monthly and year‑end reconciliations.
  • Oversee overpayment recovery processes and ensure effective communication with impacted employees.
  • Support system and process improvements, including liaising with SAP vendors, participating in User Acceptance Training, and identifying opportunities for increased efficiency and automation.

 

What makes you a GOgetter:

 

  • Minimum 4–5 years of end-to-end payroll experience in a high-volume environment
  • Exposure to blue-collar employees and award interpretation
  • Experience with SAP SuccessFactors is preferred, but not mandatory
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
  • Great communication skills both written and verbal 
  • An understanding of the waste/recycling industry is beneficial but not needed
