Reliability Engineer

Australia's largest and most-advanced recycling facility is at the BINGO Eastern Creek Recycling Ecology Park. Featuring cutting edge manufacturing technology, MPC2, the Materials Processing Centre, will be a world-leading recycling asset right here in Sydney.

The Reliability Engineer is responsible for analysing data to identify, develop solutions, and resolve issues effecting uptime of the MPC plant

The Role:

• Located at Eastern Creek.
• Permanent full time position (38 hours per week)
• Day shift
• Able to work within deadlines and maintain high quality standards
• Work in a team environment to lead and coordinate:
  • Development of system performance reporting, data modelling and simulation to monitor, forecast and validate system reliability and system health.
  • The development of reliability engineering practices, processes, procedures, specifications and instructions in support of safe, effective and efficient Asset Management services;
  • Failure investigations and root cause analyses including FTA, RBD, Fishbone, FMECA, RCM and to project management treatment to mitigate root cause.
  • The development and implementation of effective Reliability Improvement strategies to reduce risk, improve system performance and system health and optimise Total Cost of Ownership.
• Have a hands on approach to conducting incident analysis to identify root causes of downtime, developing and project managing the treatment measures
• Provide professional advice and technical recommendations as Subject Matter Expert to the MPC2 team.
• Demonstrate a pro-active attitude with an eye for detail, and willingness to work together to complete required tasks.

What you bring:

• Engineering degree within Mech, electrical, or Reliability disciplines, however a trade background with some reliability qualifications considered also.
• Strong understanding of FMEA/RCM principles.

• Strong data analytics, and Power Bi experience will be beneficial.
• Able to set challenging goals for personal and group accomplishment.
• Use measurement methods to monitor progress toward goals.
• Tenaciously works to meet or exceed goals while deriving satisfaction from that achievement and continuous improvement.
• Able to identify and understand day-to-day operational issues, problems, and opportunities.
