As our Safety Manager, you’ll be the driving force behind our safety strategy. This is your chance to lead critical safety programs, influence culture at every level and make a tangible difference in the lives of our people. You’ll work closely with operational leaders to embed best practice and deliver innovative solutions that keep everyone safe.
Responsibilities:
- Own and enhance our WHS management system and critical control program.
- Monitor, report, and improve safety performance across the business.
- Conduct assurance reviews and site inspections to identify risks before they become incidents.
- Champion safety initiatives through engaging toolbox talks and clear communication.
- Prepare safety reports for senior leadership and the Board.
- Build strong relationships with regulators and industry bodies.
- Support tenders and presentations by showcasing BINGO’s safety excellence.
What makes you a GOgetter:
- Tertiary qualifications and/or proven experience in a similar safety role.
- Expertise in WHS management systems (ISO 45001, ASNZ 4801 or similar).
- Strong track record in audits, data analysis, and implementing safety improvements.
- Collaborative approach with the ability to influence and coach teams.
- Tech-savvy with Microsoft Office and safety management software.
- Experience in high-hazard environments; waste/recycling industry knowledge is a bonus.
