BINGO industries are looking for our newest Site Manager based in our Alexandria yard! The Site Manager is responsible for the end to end safe, secure and efficient management of a Bingo Recycling Centre.
Role & Responsibilities:
- Ensure the site maintains strict adherence to all Safety & Environment policies, procedures and licenses and as the leader of the site role model exemplary behaviour in this area.
- Manage the overall day to day running of the site.
- Coach employees to create strong succession plans develop future leaders within team.
- Manage, monitor and evaluate staff performance
- Meet with team members on a regular basis to ensure a good flow of information and feedback is always maintained.
- Stay ahead of the curve in identifying problems that may hamper productivity before they happen
- Take the lead and be proactive in engaging with neighbours around the site and ensure traffic entering and leaving the site has as little impact as possible
- Be the first point of contact for authorities wanting to visit site ie EPA, Council, Department of Planning etc.
- Prepare reports on the performance of the site as required
- Ensure the smooth operation of the Safety, Environment and Quality (SEQ)
- Carry out all duties in line with Bingo’s policies, procedures and processes as amended
What makes you a GOgetter:
- Prior experience as a Site Manager in a fast paced highly regulated operational environment
- Experience effectively leading, developing and building teams.
- Working knowledge of fixed and mobile plant and machinery or at least mechanical knowledge of some description
- Demonstrated experience in the effective transfer and application of knowledge of principles to practices
- Demonstrated experience in the application of workplace health and safety practices and procedures
- Experience with the use of computer and a working knowledge of office software packages (MS Office)
- Ability to analyse data and reports and translate this to improve site performance
