About the role:

We are currently looking for casual labourers to join our day and afternoon shifts at West Melbourne Recycling Facility.  Successful applicants must be flexible to work hours required including Saturdays.This is a key role in ensuring out resource recovery facilities are operating effectively, sorting through all types of materials to ensure no products require reprocessing and plant uptime is maintained.


Duties include:

  • Sort and clear waste materials on the unloading floor or picking station

  • Perform unskilled, routine work as a member of maintenance or repair crew, including lifting, loading, digging, moving, scraping, raking, sweeping and cleaning duties

  • You will work with a group of others within our Recycling Centre, reporting to a Team Leader and Site Supervisor/Manager


About You:

  • Strong communication skills and a strong focus on safety

  • Physically able to meet the requirements of the role

  • Must be flexible to work hours required at the site
