Plant Machinery Trainer

Our Plant Machinery Traineris responsible for designing, developing, facilitating and coordinating the full range of functions required for the successful delivery and execution of Mobile Plant Machinery training programs, high risk work plant training and competencies and coordination of other compliance required training.


Main Tasks & Responsibilities:


  • Develop and deliver Resource Recovery and Recycling compliance training programs to the organisation in consultation with the B&D and SEQ team.
  • Co-ordinate, deliver and monitor all training, content and materials for Machine Operator training programs and High risk work plant not limited to forklifts, EWPs, ladders etc. ensuring alignment with Bingo growth strategies.
  • Identify and assess future and current training needs through job analysis, and consultation with line managers and Head of Training, Capability and Performance.
  • Collaboratively analyse machine operator training needs and provide training solutions that align with Departments objectives.
  • Monitor and evaluate training program’s effectiveness, success and ROI periodically and report on them.
  • Manage the delivery of the continuous improvement program, working collaboratively with all involved parties.
  • Be positive and drive THE BINGO CULTURE, managing all staff with respect
  • Manage conflict in the workplace and report any instances of conflict that cannot be resolved.


Minimum Qualifications and Experience:


  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in a similar role.
  • Certificate IV in Training & Assessment (or skill sets)
  • Licenses, qualifications and VOCs in mobile plant and HRW plant
  • Previous experience in coordinating VOCs and Training
  • Previous stakeholder engagement experience
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
  • Previous experience in design and development of training programs
  • Prior waste/recycling industry experience & proven work experience as a training coordinator preffered
  • Track record of capturing and analysing relevant data to provide insights and benchmarks used to make informed business decisions and tracking key organisational Key Performance Indicator’s (KPI’s)
