Our dedicated team of Plant Mechanics are responsible for maintaining Bingo’s vast mobile plant equipment fleet by completing breakdown and preventative maintenance on brands including CAT, Volvo, Verex, Komatsu and Liebherr

 

The job:

  • Day, afternoon, or night shift available with flexible start times!
  • Work on the GOgetter fleet consists of excavators, loaders, rollers, dump trucks, bulldozers, graders, and crushers
  • Undertaking scheduled preventative maintenance checks on our mobile plant equipment
  • Daily pre and post start machine checks
  • Rotating, adjusting, and replacing parts and equipment where required to ensure greater efficiency in the machinery
  • Determine plant & equipment's condition by conducting inspections and diagnostic tests and identifying worn and damaged parts
  • Identifying faults in plant equipment and ensuring the correct repairs are undertaken
  • Maintain plant & equipment records

How you will contribute to the GOgetter team:

  • Heavy Mechanical trade qualification (Plant or machinery)
  • Previous experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance
  • Strong experience in fault finding and diagnosing
  • Flexibility to work weekends, overtime and different shifts where required
  • Own tools and current drivers’ licence
  • Ability to identify and resolve mechanical problems
  • A strong, safety focused work ethic
  • Be able to safely work in a noisy and dusty environment
