Reporting to the Victorian State Sales Manager, the Sales Representative – Liquid and Hazardous waste is a critical role responsible for the sales of waste management solutions across metro Melbourne, managing the retention of current customers and driving profitable sales growth.

 

You’ll be working with a diverse range of customers and industries so the potential to grow your portfolio is endless.  

 

About the role

  • Manage Liquid and Hazardous Waste accounts

  • Identify and secure new business within the current portfolio

  • Keep Management informed on activity and results, new business, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual business unit analysis

  • Identify and target new business opportunities

  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, services and delivery schedules

  • Recommend changes in services to Management by evaluating results and competitive developments

  • Prepare proposals, quotations and tenders for existing and potential clients

  • Manage, update and maintain client information in the company CRM

 

What you bring:

  • Minimum 2 + years’ work experience in high volume B2B sales (ideally within the liquid waste industry) 

  • Demonstrated track record within a sales or business development position, managing sales and achieving or exceeding sales targets

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels across various industries

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Strong computer and analytical skills

  • Valid driver’s licence
