Reporting to the Victorian Commercial and Industrial Sales Manager, the Sales Representative – Liquid and Hazardous Waste is a critical role responsible for the sales of waste management solutions across South East Melbourne and has the responsibility to manage this region with the retention of customers and driving profitable sales growth.  
You’ll be working with a diverse range of customers and industries, so the potential to grow your portfolio is endless. 

 

About the role

  • Manage Liquid and Hazardous Waste accounts

  • Identify and secure new business within the current portfolio

  • Keep Management informed on activity and results, new business, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual business unit analysis

  • Identify and target new business opportunities

  • Monitor competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, services and delivery schedules

  • Recommend changes in services to Management by evaluating results and competitive developments

  • Prepare proposals, quotations and tenders for existing and potential clients

  • Manage, update and maintain client information in the company CRM

 

What you bring:

  • Minimum 2 + years’ work experience in high volume B2B sales (within the liquid waste industry preferred) 

  • Demonstrated track record within a sales or business development position, managing sales and achieving or exceeding sales targets

  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work autonomously

  • Presentation skills with the ability to present to all levels across various industries

  • Exceptional customer service skills

  • Strong computer and analytical skills

  • Valid driver’s licence
