Workshop Supervisor

Bingo Industries, through its sister company TORO Waste Equipment, is a leading manufacturer of waste equipment with operations in NSW, QLD & VIC. We are currently looking for a dedicated Workshop Supervisor to assist with the planning, coordination and control of the manufacturing process on our newly created afternoon shift. 

 

The role:

  • Afternoon shift
  • Braeside location
  • Assist with the coordination of workshop staff by allocating work to welders, spray painters and general hands
  • Oversee the manufacturing processes, estimations, schedules and allocations
  • Maintenance and repair of plant equipment
  • Maximise production efficiency to provide a greater level of customer service to TORO customers
  • Make recommendations and implement improved processes, products, material selection and staffing requirements
  • Work with TORO management to lead on company policies and procedures
  • Provide supervision to workshop staff with reviews, training, development and utilisation

 What you bring:

  • 5 years' experience in a manufacturing environment - engineering, steel or heavy industrial highly regarded
  • Minimum 2 years' supervisory experience
  • Trade qualification in relevant field - engineering, fabrication, mechanical highly regarded
  • Flexibility to work overtime and Saturday's where required
  • Ability to identify and resolve mechanical problems
  • A strong safety focused work ethic
  • Strong leadership, people and conflict management skills
